A well-engineered HVAC system offers numerous benefits, especially in work environments, by improving people's productivity and well-being.
Thanks to the collaboration with A49, we had the opportunity to simulate the ventilation system of their offices in #Bangkok. For the analysis, we used the stunning highly detailed geometric #IFCmodel of the building, kindly provided by A49 Limited, which allowed us to utilise the accurate geometry of the spaces and the interaction between the various components of the #HVAC system.
The model included various internal heat sources, such as the presence of people and the use of electronic devices. The simulation took into account the production of #CO2 within the environments, a crucial factor in assessing air quality and comfort levels.
The video uses color maps to show the distribution of temperature, #airvelocity, and CO2 concentration. Through these visualisations, it is possible to appreciate the effectiveness of the HVAC system in ensuring proper temperature and #aircirculation, avoiding stagnant zones and a CO2 level always below the risk thresholds.
